All quiet. No duty for the 43rd Regiment. Isaac Martin, company K, died and was buried with military honors. Prayer meeting after roll call. Several went to mourner’s bench. (Isaac Stamper diary, Fife Major, 43rd Tennessee)
Note: The 43rd at the time was located at Reynold’s camp, about four miles south of the city with companies rotating on picket duty at Warrenton.
