Bruce, not Missouri, but in your invaluable book you have Thomas A Mellon of Mississippi down as a General of State Troops late in the war - can you cite your source for this and do you have any info on his service in this position? You also have Horace H. Miller of Mississippi as a Brig.Gen. of Militia in 1861 - again, can you cite the source and identify his command? Any help would be really appreciated, many thanks.
