Re: 1st Wisconsin Cavalry during Wheeler's Raid
In Response To: 1st Wisconsin Cavalry ()

Mr. Arnold,

I am doing in depth research on Wheeler's Raid into the Sequatchie Valley and Middle Tennessee (September 30 - October 15, 1863). As you are probably aware, the 1st Wisconsin Cavalry had a pivotal roll in the right at Anderson's Crossroads in the Sequatchie Valley.

I am looking for primary source material (i.e. letters, diaries, journals, reminiscences, newspaper articles, and other postbellum soldier accounts) for the 1st Wisconsin Cavalry (2nd Brigade (Colonel Daniel M. Ray), 1st Cavalry Division, Army of the Cumberland.

Thank you in advance for your assistance. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Respectfully,
