Sometime ago a Missouri State Guard flag was sold by an auction house for the healthy sum of $17,625. It was captured from Col. Frank Robertson's recruit regiment at Blackwater in December, 1861. It was either a company or regimental flag of that unit. The flag was of the 1st National pattern with the red/white/red stripes and 13 stars on a blue field in the upper left corner.
