I am searching for information about my husband's ggg-grandfather, Karl Herzog (Carl, Charles, Hertzog, von Hertzog) who came to the US from Prussia before 1856 and lived in Missouri at least between 1856-1866. According to the US census he was born in April 1823. His wife was Henrietta and they moved to Iowa between 1866 and 1870. I believe he may have been involved in the Civil War and would love to learn more about his life.
