I was hoping I could get some clarification of Quantrill's men being at Sherman, Texas from December 1864 - March 1865. I am finding it kinda scattered. It's like a puzzle...everything is there, I just cant seem to put it together. I have found Dave Poole, Arch Clements and around 144 or 80 or 64 or 150 guerrillas wintered at Sherman, Texas in Dec. 1864 and left together heading towards upper Arkansas and into Missouri where they wound up at Kingsville.

Can anyone clarify this part of the guerrillas history?
