To observe the 150th anniversary of the Macon Massacre (some say Sept 25 - others insist was Sept. 26, 1862).
Will be held Saturday Sept 29, 2012.

BTW, my G-G-grandfather was a member of the Putnam County militia that was here in 1864 and which you seem to have little regard for. =)
