We are in the process of migrating information to a new system, which is
not only laborious, but has been slower and involved more errors than we
initially anticipated. Once completed however, we hope that it will be
more useful and will be more fully integrated into the new nps.gov/civilwar
which will be a more comprehensive tool for obtaining information about the
Civil War and linking to all National Park Service sites associated with
it. I do apologize for the frustration this is presently causing and beg
your patience as we try to resolve problems and make improvements.
