We have the records now.

Andrew Jackson Walker was b. June 8, 1937 Missouri and died 19 June 1921 in Sherman, Grayson Co., Texas

The Company C, Preston's Battalion, Missouri Cavalry was correct. I can work well in Georgia, where I was born, and with Thomas' Legion in NC, but Missouri was new to me.

5 of my 8 GG-Grandfathers either died in battle or of disease during the war.
My Research names: Davis, Edwards, Ellis, Green, Hayes, Keener, Stephens (and Henry W Stephens' wife Mary I never got his name)
