Mark, my gr-grandfather was in G company, 8th Missouri. He joined in Dec. of 1863. I dont know anything about the Huntsville killings except for what I've read on the internet. Elias Baldwin was courtmartialed & discharged from the regiment I believe. You had quite a number of ancestors in the 8th. Do you have any old family stories that have been handed down about them in the war? Thanks.
