Coleman's Missouri Calvary

I am researching a Skirmish that occurred in Lawrence County Arkansas on June 17 1862. the offical Report by the 5th Illinois Calvary Commander indicates that the Confederate Command were from Coleman's Regiment. Captain Wiley C Jones (A Lawrence County Arkansas Man, was the Commander of the Confederate forces engaged at the McKinney Farm. I dscovered that Captain Jones was listed as being in Company E (W.O. Coleman's Regiment). The Regiment roster has several soldiers from Missouri and Arkansas who later were serving in Crabtree's 46th Arkansas and Baber's 4th Arkansas. Can anyone tell me if this Was W.O. Coleman of the Missouri State Guards command or was this another Coleman? If it was WO Coleman was he still a member of the State Guard, or was he operating as a partisan Calvalry regiment prior to the official Missouri Partisan Ranger act of July 1862?
