MO Provost Marshal Papers

Our family history states that Thomas Conner 1842-1852 died when almost 21 a prisoner in the Civil War. Thomas was the son of Anderson Conner and they are both accused of Southern sympathies in the Provost papers, however, Anderson must have declared loyalty because he did serve for the North for 3 months in 1865. The 8 pages of Provost papers I ordered on Thomas Conner are very hard to read and I'd like to know if any of you are good with deciphering old handwriting, etc. Thanks so much,
Sharon
