Is that the one with the men all wearing white bands around their hats?

If it is the one I think I have seen, then the presence of all the white hat bands may indicate September or October 1862, which is when EMM in north or NE MO were ordered to wear those so the EMM could tell themselves from the guerrillas or Confederate recruits. The trouble with that is that the Rebels easily discovered the practice and took to wearing the white hat bands, too, and confusion reigned supreme. They learned to find better recognition of friend or foe means.

Also, if that is the one, the blockhouse may be at one of the more strategic railroad bridges, but I don't precisely recall that part. It's been a while since I saw that picture in a book. Now in which book did I see it? Hmmmmm.
