That is an interesting concept. I have never given that much thought. Given the fact that many of the communities in SW Mo were related in many ways I am sure that situation existed. I know Springfield had many instances of relatives serving both sides, then one side, then the other and lord knows what in between. Lot of bitterness existed after the war in that area. i will give a dig and see what shakes loose.
