I had no idea that's what they were doing but since you bring it up I'd love to know. Looking at the regiment I think one company was escorting Gen. Davis in Tennessee, a few companies were around Helena, and a few were at Prairie Grove, but couldn't track down anything on Company C other than they may have been at Rolla.
