Thanks for the link. I had no idea this source was there! The GAR register book from the 1890s may provide the information I need to be able to order a headsstone for a "Mr. Powell" who was a drummer boy in the Civil War. In my notes I have his GAR Post # in KS. If he shows up in the book and I can verify service, he will finally have a tombstone over 100 years after he died.
