As an M. M. Parsons researcher, I can tell you that the two Missouri batteries attached to his division at Pleasant Hill (Lesueur's and Ruffner's) were held in reserve and did not participate. To my knowledge, Parsons had no artillery support in his attack at Pleasant Hill.
