Good point but I couldn't quite read the report since its in cursive and I realize that typewriters were not available back then. At least the Union sometimes prosecuted outrages. Both Leslies Book on Quantrill and Fellmans book on the Mo conflict document Bushwackers robbing and stealing from the good Confederate citizens of Sherman, Texas and even in Mo. There was no shortage of not so nice behavior by both sides.
