Just an update on this post. There is a picture of George "Bud" Wigginton on the quantrillsquerrillas.com website. You do have to become a member to have access to see everything (membership is free). There is another photo that I strongly suspicion shows George with Quantrill and another guerrilla. This photo is in Capt Marquis's photo album and I have a comment posted with this photo explaining my thoughts. I have placed both of these photo "side by side" and there are very strong similarities. The photo of the three men is identified in Paul Peterson's "Quantrill in Missouri" book as Quantrill and the Shepherd brothers. Interestingly enough, the one identified there as George Shepherd is the one I strongly feel is actually George Wigginton. I would really appreciate any thoughts on my speculation. Thanks!
