Re: Schuyler County Confederates

Thank you for the information on the McCully boys. Joseph McCully was a son of Captain (MSG) John McCully. This William McCully was also probably a son of Capt. John McCully although he also had a brother, a father and several cousins with the same first name. I am not sure which William McCully was confined at Alton although I have always suspected he was the one who was the son of Captain John McCully.
Joseph McCully did not survive the war but it seems William did and ended up in Kansas (of all places).
I am certainly appreciative of the conversations on Schuyler County Confederates and welcome any inquiries on any of the same. Yankees also. I have had recent discussions with Bruce Nichols and Jim Bennett and wish to thank them also.
I am also available off forum at hd_64127@yahoo.com or info@haroldsbookstore.com
