The books I am writing cover guerrilla war across all of Missouri by each region and season. The "Guerrilla Warfare in Civil War Missouri, 1862" (published 2004) mentions Dent County four times and Texas County 11 times. The second in the series, "Guerrilla Warfare in Civil War Missouri, Vol. II, 1863" (published 2007) mentions Dent County 10 times and Texas County 11 times. I am writing the third and final volume in the series--for 1864 and 1865--now and hope it will hit the market about a year from now.
