Interesting.
Proud to see Anton Niehaus' (spelling varation may be there) name is listed there.
I am pretty sure that is an ancestor of Uncle Will Niehaus who was Aunt Ola's husband.
Since Aunt Ola's daddy marched with the Confederacy,
I guess it made her more acceptable as a wife since Uncle Will's family member was listed on "the list."
A branch of the family, or perhaps the whole one, came on to Little Rock, Arkansas and lived rather
well for many years.
Cousin Gene who was Dr. Eugene Haun, their only grandchild died of old age in
the Atlanta area in 2006. He would have really appreicated "the list" just as I did.
