My great great uncle James Herron was with the 8th Ark.inf. and was taken prisoner in 1864 and was taken to St.Louis Mo. to a P.O.W. camp and disappeared if anyone comes accross this name please let me know,James's little brother was in the same unit but died in 1861 in a Confederate hospital his name was Marcus Stewart Herron.Any info. will be helpful.
