I belong to the new Tiger Camp #432 for the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War in Columbia,Mo. I am trying to find out any information on GAR Camp in Columbia,Mo.
There was a block house , i believe that stood at the intersection of 8th and Broadway. It had a well, and holes for the guns to shoot out of. The name of the group/camp was Tiger Camp #432. While doing my research at the library the other day, i came across another camp #527 also here in Columbia, Mo.
If there is anyone who has information on either one of these camps or knows someone that had a relative in either one of the camps. I sure would appreciate it if theyd get hold of me.
