re Civil War deaths at hands of Bushwhacker

Does anyone know of a book that lists ALL military and civilian deaths caused by bushwhackers in Missouri? In the 1850 census My Grandfather, William Melott (spelled Milott) is listed along with his family in Blue Twsp., Jackosn, Missouri.

He disappeared form Census records killed by Bushwhackers in Missouri I have been able to find the rest of the family in various census records but we have no idea what really haappened to my Grandfather. These are details listed by my grandmother, Rosa Mae Melotte Smith. They are statements made to Rosa M. Graham Smith that were subsequently revealed by my Grandmother niece who made the note in her Bibke. The
Bible is now owned by mary Schmidt The quote:

"Samuel and Maranda Mealick were mother's foster parents. Mother had one brother Ben and three sisters, one sisters name was Ella, the other two were twins, I was named after one and I don't know what the other ones name was. It was during the Civil War and my grandfather Melotte was killed by what they called Bushwhackers and grandma was ordered out of her home and the house was burned and a battle followed where the house stood. I don't know how Mealicks folks got mother." Note from Grandmother Rosa Mae Smith
