Carl,
Please forgive anything I have said to upset you but it would seem you agree with the whole of my study. I must however, tell you that the last living Boze at the mill was Levi Boze. I do not know where you disagree with me. I only stated the record as recorded by the Union Provost Marshall and historic evidence as stated by Monk, Reeves, Ponder, and Lowry. I am a Lowry descendant and a direct grandson of William who is buried at Boze Mill and his son William Jr who was imprisoned and de-horsed by Boze and Shelton. Richard "Devil Dick" Boze did indeed die in the "Dog Run" cabin at Alton (I can gladly send you pictures of the cabin as well as a rare picture of the mill). I would also sujest that you contact, Joe Boze and request his research on the matter. I am sure that after comparing the facts, you will see that the only differences in the various research findings are minor and do not support your theory that "Uncle Dickie" survived into the 70's or 80's. Incidently, where did you come up with the name "Uncle Dickie"? I ran accross that name with another researcher today.
