John, thanks for your response, and your message, as well. One of the two pages that I have, from his wife's pension file, dated September 29, 1923, mentions, in part that "M.G. Lorberg, age 41 years, an undertaker in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who makes oath and states that he was called on the 12 day of Aug. 1923 to prepair the body of John Graden for burial, and that he did burry the body of the said John Graden on the 14 day of Aug. 1923 in a Cemetery about five miles west of the City of Cape Girardeau."
