Keith: There is a photo of LTC Austin Standish's uniform coat on the cover of Gateway Heritage, Summer, 1993, which purports to be his MSG uniform. It is a cadet gray frock coat, with a buff upright collar, buff trim on the end of the sleeves, with a gold inverted V ribbon looking thing separating the buff trim from the gray of the uniform. It has two rows of seven buttons. The buttons feature the Missouri state seal. The coat is apparently in the MO Historical Society Collection in St.Louis.

Another photo in the same issue, features Dr. James C. Nidelet, also of the Guard, and shows him in a similar frock coat, although the trim on the sleeves is a darker color (the photo is in black and white), and has a row of three buttons on the trim. I cannot make out the collar due to his beard. His frock coat appears to have two rows of maybe five buttons.
