Thanks so much for the info. Before coming to this forum I read the debate here and elsewhere and corresponded with Ray Bursen about this issue. I have come to mostly agree with Ray but because there may be an oral tradition about an atrocity of civilian killings I will be keeping my eyes open about that in case something might show up. Otherwise, it does not appear to have happened. It's the skirmish that interests me. My kids lived within a mile or two of this location for a few years at the Old Kirby place. My Son had gone looking for the old Graveyard nearby but had not found it. Now I know where it is from one of the posters here.
