489-489 HORNE, Richard 41 2220 NC, Jincy A. 33 KY, Margaret 15 KY, Lucinda 13 KY, Washington 11 KY, Givens 9 KY, Sarah F. 6 KY

Jincy was daughter of Thomas Chambers and his second wife Frances. I am descended from Thomas Chambers and his first wife Phoebe.

The Horn's left Logan Co KY and migrated to Cass Co MO. Givens had a brother George Washington Horn who was an influential Methodist Minister, dieing in 1884. Givens nephew Paul Winfield Horn was first President of Texas Tech University. Given's had 3 sisters who married a Britt, Woodridge and Cochran

After the War, Givens migrated back to KY and settled in Henry Co KY were he married Olive Powers and had 4 children, 3 of whom survived childhood. Givens taught school in and around the northern KY area, dying in St. Louis at his son Edwin's home in 1932, and is buried next to his wife in Henry Co KY. His obit is in the CASS COUNTY DEMOCRAT, Harrisonville, Cass Co Missouri, Thursday November 17, 1932 GIVENS M. HORNE 1842 - 1932

I have found no connection to a Campbell family among Given's relatives yet.
