From, "Past and Present of Greene County Missouri," Chapter 11 Part 9 Captain Samuel Headlee was commissioned as commander of company "E" of 72nd Enrolled Military Militia on April 15, 1863. If anyone has more information about this unit I would greatly appreciate it. My Great Grandfather served in that unit.
