My paternal GGF James Henry (James H) Woods b. PA in 1820 could have served in Union Army during Civil War but was 42 in 1862. He was in PA in 1850, possibly Ohio before 1861, a son of same name b. IL in 1861, and on MO census of 1870. I simply haven't learned where he was in 1860. I find these James H. Woods in following regts of infantry:

114th and 120th Ohio (same person); 80th and 84th Regts of Ohio; and 48th Inf of MO. I wonder if date and state of birth would help in my search?
