Quantrill's "wife" was supposedly Sarah Catherine "Kate" King. Her parents were Robert and Malinda King of Bllue Springs, MO. I say supposedly because there there has been no record of the marriage found to my knowledge. She went to Texas with Quantrill. Some say she did not go to Kentucky with him but a few claim she was at his bedside when he died. Anyway, he did leave money to her and she opened a brothel in St. Louis. As far as I know she does not have any connection to the Walkers.
