I was looking for any information on the 8th Missouri
Infantry, Confederate. My gr-gr- Uncle, William Henry Ross,
was a member of this organization, being in Company A. I
believe they were also called Mitchell's Infantry. I was
wondering what battles they took part in, and if they were
apart of the Sterling Price raid in 1864.
