I agree 100 % Bruce.. The story of the guerrilla conflict in Missouri is interesting enough and filled with amazing stories enough that embellishment is not really needed.. We still see the old stories of how Bill Anderson's parents supposably died ect ect when a little research will tell one the truth.. It does not make Bill Anderson any less interesting..

We still see stories of how Jesse James was a Quantrill guerrilla when Jesse only truly rode with him to the point of Quantrill crossing the Mississippi into Kentucky.. A couple of weeks at most .. Jesse rode with Taylor, Anderson and Todd yes.. But saying he was a member of Quantrills guerrillas is a stretch.. I could go on and on.. The truth is always more interesting..
