Jack, yes there are a couple of people compiling manuscripts on the Adams-Gibson Louisiana Brigade ;)

There are TONS of primary sources.

As for unit histories there is one on the 4th Louisiana, 4th Louisiana Battalion to come out soon, a biography on Randall Gibson to hit the shelves in a few months, there is a master thesis on the 16th Louisiana online in pdf from a student from Southeastern and then there's the 5th Company Washington Artillery book that is about 10 years old.
