Art’y. for 12 months, detailed as Musician June 28, 1863, left on battlefield Baker’s Creek, Miss. May 16, 1863, captured at Vicksburg, Miss. July 4, 1863, paroled July 10, 1863, exchanged April 1, 1864, recorded on the May/June, 1864 muster roll as absent, captured at Vicksburg, paroled, now West of Miss. River, recorded on the Jul/Aug, 1864 muster roll as presently in Claiborne Parish, La., ordered to ranks by Col. Nelson, surrendered at New Orleans, La. May 26, 1865, paroled at Alexandria, La.
