I cannot find a reference to Lodi Plantation before the 1870s, which makes me wonder if the new owners of Mooreland Plantation didn't rename it to Lodi. The new owners name was apparently Wells. We have Gov. Moore with the plantation for sale in 1869 (although I can't find a news item that says the plantation was sold) and after that we start finding items mentioning Lodi Plantation.
Don't y'all have an archives in that county that has all of the deeds, or are y'all a burned county?
