Numa Leger St. Landry Parish

I am searching for Civil War record for Numa Leger. He was born 1835, Louisiana, and died March 14, 1863. He was at Port Hudson, Louisiana, when he contracted Rubeola, and was sent to hospital in Woodville, Mississippi. He died there, and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, in Woodville, Ms. His name could also be spelled Leyer. (as that is how it was listed on his tombstone for many years, but was eventually corrected) Numa Leger was in Miles Legion, Comany F, Louisiana Infantry, Confederate States of America.
