General William Bailey (previous war) ,without getting into his private life,lived 4 miles from Alexandria on Bayou Roberts...is this on the Bayou Roberts Road around Lodi / Prescott Roads kind of S.W. of Alexandria ,or,the 1864 Bayou Roberts Road near the ridge that would eventually become Hwy 71, South of Alexandria .The house was sparred and lived in after the war.
