When the Federals begin to cross Choctaw Bayou at Snaggy Point at 12 p.m 5.15. Col Keigwin,( xiii corps) is near Wilsons Landing and does not begin to move until 5 p.m.5.15.
At midnight 5.14 he was 2 miles West of Wilsons with skirmishing going on behind him.He stops at 1:30 a.m., 5.15 near Wilsons. This is just an idea of how long the retreat line was. I do not know if the line was broken or not but this line is LONG !
