my google map shows a Choctaw Bayou West of 5th Ward,La.,West of German Bayou...and one East of 5th Ward going up to Snaggy Point. From Dunns Bayou I was not clear of Gen. Banks' path to Marksville,but, I now know it was from Snaggy Point. Just below Snaggy Point I noticed there is a road called Yank Road. I presume this is where the Federals congregated ?
