Conrad Andrews 28th LA Inf (Grays)

Does anyone have an age on Conrad?

Booth's shows the following: Andrews, Conrad,Pvt. Co. C. 28th Regt. La. Infty. (Gray's). Admitted to St. James U. S. A. Genl. Hosp., New Orleans, La., April 18th, 1863. Dd. April 25th, 1863. Rmks, "A Rebel Prisoner." Roll for July and Aug., 1863, "Paroled."

Says he passed in April, 1863, then July and August shows paroled. Confusing

Looking for a cousin from Jackson Parish with a similar name, and wanting age or other information to see if it is a transcription error, or?

Thanks for any help you may can provide.
