Can anyone tell me if every confederate soldier from Louisiana had to fill out an enlistment form? If so where can I find this information? I have found one for my GG Grandfather James Hanley on FOLD 3. However I have not had any luck on my other GG Grandfather John Burns. I know that the enlistment form shows the age of the soldier at the time of his enlistment. I need this for John Burns, since there were several of them from New Orleans who enlisted. Thanks.
