Re: A.J.Smith / T.K.Smith Red River Campaign

When Banks occupy's Alexandria from the Grand Ecore retreat there are a great amount of skirmishes that occur around Alexandria from about 4.30-5.13. I'm trying to figure out who was fighting who and where.
I have found that A.J. Smith had 10 inf. regiments, third brigade ,16 Army Corps that was sometimes under the command of Joseph Mower-58 ill., 89 ind., 14 iowa, 27 iowa,32 iowa, 178 n.y., 117 ill., 49 ill., 24 missouri, 3rd ind. l. art. + 4 wagons.
T. Kilby Smith had two brigades.(Red River Provisional Regiment) 17 th Army Corps
1st brigade -3rd iowa, 41 ill., 33 wisc.
2nd brigade- 95 ill., 81 ill., 14 wisc., 1st missouri l. art.
Their campaign ribbons are-3.14 ft. derussy,4.12-13 pleasant hill landing,4.23 cloutierville,4.24 near cloutierville,5.4 moreland,5.6 wells plantation,5.7 bayou boeuf,5.16 marksville,5.16 yellow bayou.
Joseph Mower 1st brigade, 16 army corps (sometimes with A.J. Smiths 3rd brigade).
47 ill., 8 wisc., 5 minn., 35 iowa, 33 missouri, 2nd iowa l. art., + 4 wagons.
A lot of times the Confederate report indicate a particular U.S. reigment they faced in battle and not the whole force, but, if you know the U.S. regiment then you know who the U.S.commander behind it was. T. Kilby Smith claims that he remained around the Pineville area until 5.14. and A.J. Smith claims that on 5.14 he departed Moreland and by 5.14 p.m. hrs. he reached Ft. Derussy. A.J. as usual did the rear guard action.
This is what I have found, can anyone confirm it ?
I presume the library at Louisiana Military Academy (Pineville) was burned on 5.13.64 by T. Kilby Smith who departed the following morning. I understand that the main building, and Roselie Plantation, were spared by a written request fom Maj. Gen. Wm. T ."cump" Sherman who held a position there pre Civil War.
