I'm just trying to put thngs into perspective, perhaps reading too much into the articles I've found,but, If Dudley meets Franklin at Carrion Crow Bayou on 3.18.64. with 19 man force and is sent to scout Piney Woods... where the Affair at Henderson Hill occurs on3.21.64...and 'comes into Alexandria to meet Gen. Banks' on 3.24.64. at 9 p.m. with an 80 man unit... I have to wonder if Dudley, or some of the members of his newly formed company had anything to do with the capture of the 2nd. La. Cav. at Henderson Hill.
