Confederate Jayhawker Raids 1863-4

I'm interested in finding any information concerning 4 Confederate raids on Jayhawkers occuring 1863-4.
Raid # 1
6.12.63-Col. Fournet, 10 th La. Inf. Battn @ Hineston, La....They received the order @ Camp Pratt 6.12.63 . Amoung some of the ring leaders listed on their orders are Ozime Carrier, Elliot, Huddlestone, Whittington...
Dennis Haynes, 1st. La. Battn. Scouts, Co. B ( 118 men Union) would later make mention of this raid and stated " Col. Fournet and his brigade arrived in Hineston (6.20.63) on the day I arrived. They shot at Jim Parker and his cousin Bob on the public road, killing Jim...Bob escaped being shot at no fewer than 20 times...a few days later they killed Bob Flyn...
The Battn. that Dennis belongs to was formed by Gen. Banks upon his (Banks) arrival in Alexandria (5.64). It's commander is a Col. Dudley, aka: Dr. Dudley, and although the date of Henderson Hill (3.21.64) and the date of Bank's arrival @ Alexandria are somewhat different, one can only wonder if this Battn., or, it's future menbers, had anything to do with the Confederate debocale . In a short period of time Dennis Co. has 118 members...made up from C.S.A. deserters / jayhawkers.
Raid # 2
5.18.63
The 2nd. La. State Guard Battn. began recruiting and jayhawking avtivities around Opelousas.
Raid # 3
Col. Vincent, 2nd. La. Cav., on the Mermentau captured and hanged Cpt. Cady and 18 members.
Raaid # 4
5.2.64
Gen. Taylors proclimation to shoot any and all Jayhawkers on sight.
Taylor mentioms that " the 2nd and 7th Cavalry have returned from the Teche where many Jayhawkers were killed and cotton bound for New Orleans taken. The enemy was driven back with heavy losses in arms and stores being destroyed in hasty retreat"
I know Ozime Carrier was killed in the closing months of the Civil War by Col. Bringier @ Bayou Mallet (Lawtell) La. and the fate of some of the Jayhakers mentioned here are explained. My question for these 4 raids is: Who are the Jayhawkes being sought, where did they operate from ,and what were the specifics of their activities . No doubt civilians and community envolvement had a great deal to do in their promotion / demise, and understandably there was a tremendous vail of secrecy for such missions. Information for Jayhawking activities is hard to come by and I appreciate any and all help concerning this matter.
