Recently I visited a webpage that stated there was a Cornay Collection at Tulane containing his wartime letters, however this statement is not correct. After much work sources at Tulane indicated they did not have any Cornay holdings.

Can anyone tell me if there is a collection of the letters of Capt. Florian O. Cornay (St. Mary's Cannoneers/1st Louisiana battery) and where this collection is held.

Specifically I am seeking information about his activities in combat near Montgomery, Grant Parish, La immediately prior to and including his death beyond what is covered in the OR's & ORN's, so if anyone might be aware of any sources it would also be appreciated.
