* This company was formerly Company D, 1st (Wheat’s) Special Battalion, Louisiana Infantry. St. Paul’s Battalion Louisiana Foot Rifles, was also known as the 7th Battalion Louisiana Infantry

** This battalion was also known as Special Battalion of Louisiana Foot Rifles, Acting Major Henry St. Paul, Commanding. The Battalion was broken up about August, 1862, Company B becoming Company I of the 15th Regiment Louisiana Infantry
