I think some time back someone was wondering if there was a list of the people who took the oath of allegiance in New Orleans. The Historic New Orleans Collection on Chartres Street may have it. MSS 143 is titled "Index to Books Containing the Names of Persons taking the oath of allegiance and a record of registered enemies." 1862-1875. 2 bound volumes. The catalog description says one volume is a "copy of Index to 5 books containing the names of person taking the oath of allegiance in 1862." The other volume is "Record of Registered Enemies."
